Anselm Reyle was born in Tübingen, Germany in 1970. He studied at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Stuttgart and at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Karlsruhe. He moved to Berlin in 1997, where he founded a studio cooperative with John Bock, Dieter Detzner, Berta Fischer and Michel Majerus. From 1999 to 2001, Reyle worked together with Claus Andersen and Dirk Bell for the artists' co-operative gallery "Andersen’s Wohnung" and, "Montparnasse" with Dirk Bell and Thilo Heinzmann. After having held a position as guest-professor at the Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Karlsruhe, Universität der Künste, Berlin and the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg, Reyle became a professor in Drawing/Painting in Hamburg in 2009.
Reyle’s artworks often seem at first glance to be merely derivative of older works, but his ability to provide these forms with new meaning and context imbues them with new life. Working with a regular team of studio assistants, he frequently creates large-scale paintings and sculptures.

Mika Yoshitake holds degrees in art history from UC, Berkley and UCLA and is completing her Ph.D. at UCLA in postwar Japanese art. In 2012, she curated and organized the group exhibition “REQUIEM FOR THE SUN: THE ART OF MONO-HA” at BLUM & POE in LA. She also worked on “Lee Ufan: Marking Infinity” in 2011 at the Guggenheim Museum in NY, and “(c) Murakami” in 2007 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in LA, contributing essays to the catalogs for each. Yoshitake also contributed essays for “TOKYO 1955-1970 A NEW AVANT-GARDE” at MOMA in 2012 and “Target Practice: Painting Under Attack 1949-78” at the Seattle Museum of Art in 2009. She previously worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art in LA.
As you can see, we have succeeded in luring two international Jurors, Mika Yoshitake from the USA and Anselm Reyle from Germany, who work at the center of the Contemporary Art Market.
