Here was a special guest, Norio Watanabe aka Guitar Osho gave us one of his trademark pep-talk sermos. performed “Ogenki Seppo (a lively preach)”. There were visitors who came just to hear him preach.

Despite his booming popularity, Tekken joined us for the third time. No sign of the rumored imposter Tekken though. Maybe next time?

The number of female exhibitors was greatly increased.

The budding relationships between exhibitors is another feature of GEISAI. It has become a place to exchange information among rivals.

And with that, the jury review began. Participating in GEISAI as a juror for the first time, Hiroki Azuma examined the art work from the point of view of critic and philosopher.

Our only female juror and another first-timer, Mika Ninagawa judged artworks from her unique feminine perspective.
