On Saturday March 29 and Sunday March 30, 2003, GEISAI#3 was held at Pacifico Yokohama, Exbition Hall A for the first time. Here we see the beginning of the installation period.

Exhibitors begin setting up their booths, many of them already experienced at doing so. This time, there were two days to bring works into the venue.

As always, we built a tower crowned with paper lanterns. And this time, the tower was used as a stage too. GEISAI is, after all, a festival!

The “King of Shokugan (small box meals with toys inside) , Kaiyodo Executive Director Miyawaki Sennmu. This time, he did a test exhibition of some new Murakami pieces at the hall.

KATHY, who received awards from the talent scouts at GEISAI #2, put on a girly performance that caught many visitors’ eyes.

Cute artworks with a feminine touch were exhibited by unico. Mika Ninagawa even bought a piece.

These performers wearing gas masks were back for a repeat appearance.
