Kaikai Kiki artist Chinatsu Ban chatted with Mahomi Kunikata, winner of the Bronze Prize at the last GEISAI.

The jurors gather in front of photos of their favorite works to make their selections.

After the discussion in the jury room, the group move back onto the floor to view the nominees’ works for themselves and make their final selections.

The first award to be announced was the Bronze Prize. A married couple, Strange Egg Lab, was presented the medal by David Elliot.

Second came the winner of the Silver Prize, which went to Yumiko Inada. The medal was presented by Tadanobu Asano.
